Schmitz organic liver pate
We are particularly proud of our organic liver sausage. Produced with all the knowledge of our master butchers and the careful use of organic pork, which is subject to the strict criteria of organic quality. Our organic meat is finely chopped and cooked in-house in the traditional butcher’s way to achieve the creamy consistency typical of Schmitz.
Schmitz Organic Seeds
We love our organic flax, produced exclusively in Cologne. The natural casings are carefully filled by hand; selected organic spices and the gentle cooking in a traditionally prepared cauldron broth ultimately give it the unique Schmitz taste. The European Commission even awarded the North Rhine-Westphalian food speciality the “Protected Geographical Indication” (PGI) seal of approval in 2016. This means that it may only be produced in a clearly defined geographical, production area.
